Class Outline and Expectations:
This course prepares students for Algebra and Geometry studies, topics include but are not limited to single and multi-variable equations, data analysis, introduction to number theory, graphing, measurement, exponents, square roots, and introduction to geometry.
Grading Procedures:
● Progress Reports: issued every three weeks.
● Homework: Students will have homework every week. Homework contributes 30% towards final grade.
● Tests and Quizzes: Tests will be given at the end of each unit as well as a final at the end of the semester. Quizzes will be given every other week. Tests and Quizzes account for 70% of the final grade, so it is important for students to study for these assessments.
