Toler Poole

Toler is an undergraduate at Yale University majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology with a Global Health Certificate. He currently is part of the Yale Scientific Magazine where he writes articles for their issues.

Toler went to Deerfield Academy for high school where he graduated cum laude. While there, he was an Associate Editor for the school newspaper, The Deerfield Scroll. He wrote and edited articles for each issue. In high school, Toler received a grant for a project where he interviewed health professionals and teenagers to create a website for teenagers to bridge the gap in the healthcare world. Toler has his work published in the Deerfield literary magazine Albany Road. Toler scored five in high school on AP English Language, English Literature, and more. Outside of the classroom, Toler enjoys diving. He placed top ten in the New England Prep School Swimming and Diving Championship three years in a row.
