Tarek Ziad

Tarek Ziad graduated from Yale University on full scholarship and with Honors in both his majors: Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and Theater & Performance Studies. With both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts, he is skilled in teaching a wide array of subjects to all grade levels, including English reading and writing, science and conservation biology, theater and improv, and public speaking. Tarek’s love for working with students and seven years of teaching experience make him an engaging, fun, and effective teacher who has worked in classrooms worldwide, from Osaka, Japan, to New Haven, Connecticut.

When Tarek was in high school, he was the valedictorian of both the school and IB program, and received scholarships, including The Horatio Alger National Scholarship and QuestBridge National Scholarship. This has also made him an experienced college application coach, guiding students through essay writing and application building to admissions from schools including Yale, UPenn, MIT, and UCLA. His secret: Crafting a well-rounded applicant of both the arts and sciences who is legible, memorable, and desirable.
