Hillary Nguyen

Hillary graduated from Yale in 2023 with a perfect 4.0 GPA in neuroscience and is currently a third-year medical student at UCLA. Since 2020, she has taught multiple group classes through Diyi for students of various levels, specializing in literary analysis, research papers, and application essays.

Hillary has a strong background in English. She was a recipient of the prestigious Gates Scholarship and a recipient of the Winston T. Townsend Prize from the Yale English Department. With a passion for helping students master academic and creative writing, Hillary has helped students at all levels unlock their writing potential. She also mentors high school students seeking advice and editing assistance with college applications, personal statements/essays, and scholarship essays.
