Meera Rothman

Meera is a designer researcher at a Brooklyn-based nonprofit. She has a bachelor’s in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale and a master’s in the Health Policy, Planning & Financing master’s program from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the London School of Economics.

At Yale, Meera served as the president and curriculum director of a tutoring program for refugee students and families in New Haven. She has three years of direct experience working one-on-one and in classroom settings with middle and high school students on English, reading, and writing skills, and she is a skilled SAT tutor. Additionally, Meera served as the captain of her high school’s debate team and a public forum debate coach for Capitol Debate. Over the summers, she has worked as a virtual debate teacher for middle and high school students nationwide. In high school, Meera was a nationally ranked debater, and a skilled teacher of researching, writing, and public speaking.

Meera has tutored students in SAT, middle and high school math and English, and college prep for the last four years. She has worked closely with seniors to help them write impactful, genuine college essays that have gotten them accepted into their dream schools, including Yale, the University of Virginia, and more.
