Yasmeen Abed

Yasmeen graduated from Yale double majoring in Political Science and Modern Middle Eastern Studies. In high school, she received a near-perfect score in SAT English and has ample experience editing academic articles, applications, and college essays. Yasmeen is the Program Development Coordinator for Elena’s Light, a nonprofit that provides ESL education to refugee women in Connecticut. She has extensive experience curating curriculums for students of all educational backgrounds and has been teaching for over five years, including teaching English Reading and Writing courses for Diyi.
Yasmeen is excited to use her experience and passion for education to inspire students to achieve their educational goals.
