Zhen Jen Tu

Zhen graduated from Yale in 2022 with a BA in History and is completing her Master’s degree in Piano Performance. During college, she was an editor of the Yale Review of International Studies. She won first prize in the John F. Kennedy Profiles in Courage National Essay Contest.

Zhen has extensive experience tutoring English and writing. Since 9th grade, she has worked with students of all ages to improve their reading comprehension and writing skills. Since 2023, she has been teaching reading and writing classes with Diyi, helping students build strong analytical and communication abilities. Additionally, she also helped students with Standard Test preparation and in crafting compelling college admissions essays. In her free time, Zhen enjoys playing chamber music, learning languages, and reading.
