Class Expectations: Writing college entrance essays is difficult. Writing about yourself and one specific moment in time is hard. This writing style is also one of the most important of a student’s career. This course walks students through writing Common Application essays, supplemental university essays, California State Application essays, and building a college resume. It is never too early to start preparing and learning to write the best application story. This course is specifically for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors but freshmen can also benefit and take the course to build their essay collection. The course teacher assisted students’ entrance with essay writing into Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Brown, Stanford, Oxford, all California universities, and all the top 40 universities over the last ten years. What she’s found over the years is the best college essays come with practice, multiple drafts, research, and a clear vision. This course gives students each of these things, and the students will leave the course with a completed college essay package.
